PRIVACY POLICY

Advisors EP LLC Last updated: September, 14 2026

Advisors EP LLC ("AdvisorsEP," "we," "us") provides outsourced estate planning support to financial advisors and their clients. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy covers our website at advisorsep.com, our platform at app.advisorsep.com, and our text message service.

Who this policy applies to

Advisors and their team members who hold an account with us. Clients whose estate plans we help prepare. Visitors to our website, including anyone who takes our estate planning quiz.

What we collect

Information you give us-

Account information. Name, email address, phone number, firm name, business address, licensing status, and the states you serve.

Estate planning information. For clients, this includes names and contact details for family members and anyone named in a plan, property and asset information, account institutions and the last four digits of account numbers, beneficiary designations, and the instructions you give us about your wishes.

Documents you upload. Existing estate plans, statements, asset schedules, deeds, and anything else you send us.

Communications. Messages you send us through the platform, by email, or by phone.

Information we collect automatically

Usage information. Pages visited, features used, and the dates and times of activity in the platform.

Device and connection information. IP address, browser type, and operating system.

Sign-in records. When you sign in, from what device, and whether verification succeeded.

Information from others

From your advisor. If your financial advisor refers you to us, they may share your contact details and information about your assets.

From payment processing. Our payment processor tells us whether a payment succeeded and the last four digits of the card used. We never receive or store your full card number.

What we never collect

We do not ask for and do not want Social Security numbers, dates of birth in uploaded documents, or full account numbers. If you send us a document containing these, we may ask you to send a redacted version.

Text messages

We send text messages for one purpose: one-time passcodes when you sign in.

You opt in by choosing text message as your verification method in your account settings and entering your own mobile number. The checkbox is never pre-selected. You confirm by entering a code sent to that number.

We do not send marketing, promotional, or informational text messages. We never sell or share your mobile number with anyone for marketing purposes.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. You can also change or remove your verification method at any time in your account settings.

Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose.

How we use your information

To provide our services and prepare estate planning documents. To verify who you are when you sign in. To communicate with you about your plan, your account, and appointments. To process payments. To improve how the platform works. To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

Your financial advisor, where you are their client and they have access to your plan. You control what a health care document shows them.

People you choose. When you share a document packet with a family member, agent, bank, or doctor, they see only what you sent, through a link that expires.

Our service providers, who help us run the business and may only use your information to provide services to us:

Provider | What they handle

Supabase | Data storage and hosting

Stripe | Payment processing

Postmark | Email delivery

Twilio | Text message delivery

Calendly | Appointment scheduling
Zoom | Video Meetings, Summaries, and Recordings

Encore | Document preparation

Our document preparation partner, who produces estate planning documents from the information you provide.

When the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

If our business is sold or merged, your information may transfer as part of that transaction.

How long we keep it

We keep client estate planning records for as long as you hold a plan with us, and afterward as long as needed for our legal and business obligations.

We keep advisor account records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.

We keep quiz responses and website inquiries for up to three years unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

How we protect it

Your information is held in private storage that is not publicly accessible. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is checked on every request — an advisor can see only their own clients, and a client can see only their own plan.

Document links are temporary. A link to open a document lasts minutes, not forever. A shared packet expires automatically, and immediately if the document it contains is replaced.

Multi-factor authentication is required for all staff and advisor accounts.

No system is perfectly secure. We work to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Tell you what we hold about you. Correct anything that is wrong. Delete your information, subject to records we must keep. Give you a copy in a portable format. Stop certain uses of your information.

To make a request, email support@advisorsep.com. We will respond within the time your state's law requires, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

If you live in California

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the rights above, plus the right to know the categories of information we collect and who we share it with — both described in this policy. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request for you.

If you live in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or another state with a privacy law:

You have the rights above. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will explain our reasoning. You may also contact your state Attorney General.

Children

Our services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

We do collect the names and dates of birth of minor children when a client provides them as part of their estate plan — for guardianship and beneficiary purposes. That information comes from the parent or guardian, not the child.

Changes

We may update this policy. Any change will be posted here with a new date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders directly.
